Today was technically still Fall break for me, but because I am a certifiably insane professional development junkie (and because I've always wanted to work for the district so I would have access to all of this PD), I spent the whole day at a Content Day Session for ELA. It was refreshing to use my brain in an ELA way for at least one day. For some reason, even though I am a somewhat lost newbie, I was also asked to present at the content day with a group of other ESL teachers. Talk about nerves!!!
Anyway, it came off rather well, and I'm glad I did it even though it was a long day for me.
I wanted to look good but not too stuffy as a presenter (many attendees were in jeans). I went with this much loved Talbots paisley skirt, a blue oxford top, and a lime green jacket.
Note to self: Even with the jacket, I was freezing the whole time. The next time I'm at a school over a weekend, I'll wear more layers and tights.
Paisley-Swirl Pencil Skirt, Talbots; French Cuffed Button-Up in Oxford Blue; Talbots; Pleated Jacket in Caterpillar Green, Talbots; Jewelry, Talbots (Hey, even the shoes are Talbots. It was a Talbots day.)

  1. Thanks for the idea on styling this skirt! I have the same skirt and I was having a hard time coming up with ideas for autumn. I just happen to have a cardigan the same colour as your jacket so I will try those two together. Thanks!
