Today was Caleb's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. I wore this outfit while I was rushing around frantically getting things put together. I made a slide show for Caleb and the other boy who was getting his Eagle, and everyone seemed to think it was amazing. I think it was because I set the whole thing to "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan. Ha. It was fun to watch the boys grow up from little 12 year olds to now listening to that music. I was Caleb's number one volunteer for his Eagle, so it was a big relief to get this finished off.

Today was our 28th wedding anniversary, and we celebrated by going up to SLC, eating out at the Market Street Grill (Shrimp and Stuffed Tilapia), and then going to Laughing Stock for the improv comedy show. We spent the night at the Marriot in SLC. It was a very fun, romantic evening.

Today I wore this exact outfit, except I wore the necklace to the right, which is actually more pink than the peach it looks here. After church, I changed out of the skirt into the shorts on the right for a family picnic/get together celebrating Father's Day.

Today I attend an Advanced Institute for the Central Utah Writing Project on Digital Writing. It was a great institute,   and I learned a lot of new fun stuff. I added the merino wool cardigan because I am always freezing in meetings like this, and it ended up being a good choice.

Today was the funeral of a man in our neighborhood. He was a kind, funny, loving man, husband, and father who just suddenly died almost instantly -- it was a big shock to everyone. Theirs was a very music oriented family, so I was singing in a choir as part of the funeral. Andre, you will be missed.
